Threading

Threading is an ancient technique of removing unwanted facial hair, which has been practiced for more than years across China and the Middle East . This is done by using pure cotton thread, by a therapist on areas like the eyebrows,   chin, upper lips, sides of the face and forehead. Threading is simple, fast and very effective.
General method
The art of threading involves twisting a lengthy cotton thread, which is drawn along the hairs that are to be removed. The twisting action of the thread caught the unwanted hairs in the loops, and lifts them directly out of the root. A trained professional can do it quickly and almost pain-free or with less pain.
Benefits
•  Perfect for clients with sensitive skins, other methods like waxing can have a risk of burning.
•  Threading provides a clean results and a sharp appearance of your eyebrows that gives best definition to your eyes.
•  Threading eliminates the most minuscule of hairs, deep from the root, and hence will last much longer than wax or tweezers.
•  It is less painful than the other hair removal methods.
•  Threading doesn't leave any scar and rarely pinch skin.
•  Waxing at regular intervals diminishes hair growth up to an extent.
Steps in Threading
Step 1: Cut a piece of cotton sewing thread more or less 24 inches long and tie the ends to create a loop.
Step 2: Lay the loop above the thumb and forefinger of both hands and hold it tight. Twist the loop of thread by rotating one wrist to create an "8" shape and continue twisting until you have approximately 1 inch of twists.
Step 3: Stretch the thumb and forefinger of one hand and bring the thumb and forefinger of other hand together. Now you can see the twisted thread move towards the hand that is closing. Next do it opposite, bring the Stretched thumb and forefinger close and close the stretch fingers. This is the action to do in threading.
Step 4: Now place the twisted part of the thread over the hair that should be removed, do the threading action. When the twists moves from one side to the other, the hair is caught in the loop that and forms a noose around the hair that pulls it out as it moves.
Step 5: If you are trying for the first time, practiced on your legs and then move to other areas such as the upper lip, stomach and eyebrows.

Waxing

Waxing is a most popular and temporary method for removal of unwanted hair. This method is not a modern one; this is an ancient method where ancient Egyptian women used sugary wax to remove unsightly hair. Unlike shaving, waxing takes about three to eight weeks for the hair to grow back, this is not in the case of other methods.

General Method of Waxing
Waxing is done by spreading a thin coat of wax over the area of unwanted hair in the direction of hair growth. A cloth or paper strip is pressed on top of the wax and then ripped off very quickly against the direction of hair growth. This removes wax along with the hair, leaving behind the skin smooth.
Steps in waxing
The following steps are same for all the three hand, leg, stomach and feet waxing.
• Purchase a right wax that well suits your skin. Note the instruction label.
• Heat the wax according to the instructions (It should not be too hot, it may cause heat burns).
•  Clean and Dry your legs before applying wax.
•  After that, apply wax before it cools (it should be warm), apply it in the direction of hair growth.
•  Now, press cotton cloth or paper strip on top of the wax and allow the wax to cool a little.
• Later, rip off the waxing cloth or strip swiftly in the opposite direction of your hair growth. Do not pull it straight up this will cause more pain.
• Place the damp washcloth over the waxed area to relax.
• Repeat the process from applying wax till placing the damp wash cloth until your legs or feet or stomach or hands are completely done.
• After removing apply a soothing cream or a moisturizing cream.

The other waxing like face and eyebrow waxing are best done by professionals. Trying at home may be unsafe.

Best Beauty Treatments for Your Face

Exfoliate your skin - There are dead cells present on our skin surface. We need to remove the dead cells that look old or sallow. One best way to remove is through scrubbing. The process of scrubbing is to remove off the dead skin cells to reveal and expose younger, fresher skin. The shedding process clears the pores and keeps the skin clean and healthy.
An overnight facial - Make an egg mask to give your skin with nutrients. Mix up an egg white with chopped or macerated fresh mint (a natural astringent) if your skin is oily and if your skin is dry, add 2 tablespoons of honey (a natural emollient). Spread the mixture evenly on your face for an hour and then rinse, dry and moisturize.
Nighttime Hydrating - Moisturizer are essential for moisturizing and to repair skin damage while you sleep. Night creams that contain olive oil, vitamins C, plant enzymes and essential oils are excellent for moisturizing. If you have oily skin make sure you use products that are non-comedogenic.
Eye cream every night - The area around the eye is a very tender zone and has no oil-producing glands. The first sign of aging is the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes . So pay more attention to your eyes and to the area around the eye.
A relaxing facial massage - Take a few drops of essential oils and warm between your fingertips. The pressure that you give during a face massage is a gentle light friction. Give stroking movements underneath your eyes; sweep your fingers across your forehead. Make use of your thumbs and index fingers to pinch the jaw line with a suction motion. Start the massage from the centre to the edge of your face.
